In 2020, the MRS.V group was founded to create an alliance and an unity between Zhao Wei’s various Bordeaux properties.
The creation of the MRS. V group began with the ‘crush of the heart’ encounter with Château Monlot, a property with a long history and recognized for its terroir in Saint-Émilion, on the right bank of Bordeaux. As soon as it was acquired in 2011, the potential of the estate gave birth to a global project.
The MRS.V Group also symbolizes the passion of a team of men and women with varied international experience who have the same ambition: to reveal and promote discreet vineyards with remarkable potential…
The four letters of the MRS.V echo the four properties of group:
- M for Château Monlot, property in Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation
- R for Château La Croix de Roche, 100% organic wine estate in Galgon
- S for Château Sénailhac, majestic historic domaine surrounded by 50 hectares vines on a clay-limestone hillside
- V for Château La Vue, vineyard in Saint-Emilion, tended like a garden
V is also a letter with a strong meaning: The vine, The wine (“vin” in French), a vision.
The Wine Club
In 2020, we created this Wine Club for all wine lovers in France and abroad, whether you are apprentice amateurs or great connoisseurs.
We offer you quality wines in order to promote the excellence of local products.
We have a wide range of wines from several appellations. Some come from large estates, and some come from small producers with a nice price.

Zhao Wei’s desire and ambition to produce wines of excellence convinced four renowned personalities in the wine world: Agronomist Claude & Lydia Bourguignon, oenologist Jean-Claude Berrouet and Hubert de Boüard who bring their precious advice and experiences to create exceptional wines.
C. ET L. BOURGUIGNON
Claude Bourguignon and his wife Lydia are the founders of the Laboratory of Microbiological Analysis of Soils (LAMS). LAMS has become the authoritative research institution in soil health and protection.
Claude Bourguignon has always worked for the best vineyards in the world, using his knowledge of soils and their transmission on the vine. </ p >
Today, for several years, he has carried out an in-depth analysis of the soils of Château Monlot in order to bring out the best benefits of his terroir on the vines.
Jean-Claude Berrouet is one of the most influential and renowned winemakers in the world and has also worked on 44 vintages for some of the most famous wines in the world . Its reputation is well established.
When he retired, Zhao Wei convinced him with his sincerity and passion to share his experience and advise Château Monlot and its team .
Jean-Claude Berrouet has a deep knowledge for soil and vines, and is constantly looking for harmony
perfect between nature and man. He believes in the combination of traditional and modern agricultural techniques, and he believes that wines should reflect the flavors of their terroirs.
HUBERT DE BOUARD
A graduate of the Faculty of Oenology of Bordeaux, proud to have been a pupil of Emile Peynaud, he left Saint-Émilion for a while to discover other vineyards and techniques from which he will draw many ideas. Back on the property in 1980, he consolidated his knowledge by participating in all the work in the vineyard and in the cellar, until he took over the management of Angelus in 1985. His past experiences, particularly in Burgundy and his reflections lead him to implement viticultural and wine-making techniques hitherto unknown in Saint-Emilion.
A winegrower at heart, Hubert de Boüard is above all a man nourished by his childhood spent in the middle of the vineyards, and for whom work can be summed up in a few words: balance and respect for people and nature.
From pioneering winegrower to public figure, Hubert de Bouard took only one step to follow his convictions, by participating in an active way in the life of the appellation and Bordeaux.
As a technical consultant, he controls the production of the wines of Château La Vue, chateau Sénailhac of 2018 and of the Monlot N ° 1, 3 and 5 brands since July 2017 until today, to make balanced wines that express the DNA of this unique terroir.
Coming from a family of winegrowers in Montagne, a village near Saint-Emilion, Cécile Paillé grew up with a passion for the land and for wine. Holding the National Oenology Diploma in Bordeaux, Cécile Paillé has built up her rich experience in wine around the world, notably in California, South Africa, and then in Bulgaria. Finally, she made her return to France where she worked for several years for a Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Emilion.
It is this same passion for wine that put these two women, Zhao Wei and Cécile Paillé, on the same road of sharing fine wines.
Backed by her experience, Cécile works every day to control the quality for all the cuvées of our group.
